My husband Bryce, and myself have owned our own herd of cattle for three years now, but our journey to this time has been much longer. As 5th generation agriculturists, we are rooted deep in the industry with a strong passion for family, farming, cattle, and the values this lifestyle provide. I am a wheat farmer’s daughter and Bryce grew up helping his grandfather ranch on the very place we now run our cattle on. 

Bryce’s grandfather retired (around 2005) from ranching a few years before Bryce and I met, and their cattle were sold and the remaining operations were handed off to local tenants.  Since then, it has always been a dream of Bryce’s to raise cattle on his family ground.

Fast forward to 2019, we found ourselves longing to run cattle and a transition of tenants opened the door for us to turn our dream into reality.  In March of 2020, we put an offer on a set of Red Angus mommas and by May, they were grazing the beautiful Rock Lake country.  Double B Cattle Company was a real thing!

Working to restore the family ranch has been filled with hard work but a little bit of grit has never scared us. Our evenings and weekends are often spent rebuilding the old and expanding for the future. As we look out across the fields of grass, we can't help but take pride in knowing that we are continuing to build the path that was started by past generations.

Today, we live and operate the Harvest Shop in Harrington, Wash., and run cattle in St. John/Rock Lake area on the original Bailey family ground.

We love prime beef paired with Washington wine.

All of our beef comes from our own herd, on family land. We do not source cattle from the sale barn or other ranchers at any given age. We carefully select genetics that improve our terminal traits in our cattle for the perfectly crafted, marbled, tasty beef for your freezer. We pride ourselves in raising beef from conception to consumption.

All of our beef is processed in Odessa at a USDA inspected facility. Majority of our beef will grade Prime, with the occasional Choice+. You can say we have an eye for quality and taste standards.

Our mama cows graze the family ground and are supplemented with protein, salt, and mineral tubs year round. We finish our custom beef for the Harvest Shop on a perfected ration of grain and hay to offer our customers exceptionally tasty beef.
